"My Wallet" FAQ
Q1. What is My Wallet?
My Wallet is free service provided by BitEvery.com, in which you can check balance, set up automatic transfer, withdraw your bits, as well as look up your transfer/withdrawal history in just one signle page.

Q2. How do I deposit bitcoins into my account?

Whenever you create a new account in BitEvery.com, we will automatically assign a bitcoin address to you. All our services including "Tip with bits" and "Share your bits" will deposit to and withdraw from this address. When you deposte bitcoin into your account from external website or bitcoin client, please remember to deposit to your assigned bitcoin address ONLY.

To find out your assigned bitcoin address, please go to "My Wallet" page. The 1st bitcoin address dispalyed in "Wallet" section is your assigned bitcoin address by BitEvery.com.

Q3. How do I import my own address (Watch only)?

Please click "import a bitcoin address" at top right of Q1 figure, then the following window will pop up, and you can key in your external bitcoin address with a nickname (nickname is not editable once it is imported). Note that the imported address is a Watch Only address, we cannot spend/send bits from this address but only be able to show its balance in our website.

For safety and convenience, it is recommended to import an external bitcoin address and set up automatic transfer for it, such that our system can automatically transfer bits from default address (assigned by BitEvery.com) to your Watch Only address.

Q4. How do I delete an address?
For any imported Bitcoin address, you can easily delete it by clicking the orange "Delete" botton shown in Q1 figure. Don't worry, you can import it again anytime you want.

Q5. What is Watch Only address?
Bitcoin Addresses come in two parts, a public part and a private part. The public part allows you to view the transactions and balance of a bitcoin address only. The private part is the important bit to prove that you are the owner of a Bitcoin address and is needed to be able to send funds from that address. If there is an address in your My Wallet account which is missing its private key, it will be marked "Watch Only" which means unless you have the private key saved up elsewhere you do not own the funds at that address and can only "Watch" them.

Q6. How can I setup automatic transfer for the bits I earned?

Once you signed up an accout from BitEvery.com, you will earn bits little by little since then. After you earn a great amount of bits from the "Tip" services, you may want to move it from the assigned address (1st address) to your own bitcoin address for safety. Your automatic transfer setting will be updated immediately. We will check your assigned bitcoin address (1st address) three times a day. Each time if your available bits is greater than the transfer threshold, we will initiate a transfer from the assigned address to your designated imported address.

Note: Automatic transfer can be setup for ONLY one imported address. Also, a fee of 100 bits will be charged by Bitcoin network for each automatic transfer.
